Implant-Supported Restorations

Implant-supported restorations replace missing teeth using support from dental implants. Fixed bridges or, in suitable cases, removable dentures may be considered. The design depends on oral conditions and individual needs.

What is assessed?

The position and number of implants, tissue health, chewing forces and access for cleaning are evaluated.

Treatment process

Impressions or digital records are used to plan tooth shape, bite and appearance. Fit is checked during try-ins. The method of attachment is selected according to the clinical situation.

Care and follow-up

Daily cleaning and checks of the restoration and its connections are needed. Conditions that increase loading, including grinding, are assessed.

Preparing for your first visit

  1. Discussion of your concern and medical history.
  2. Clinical examination and appropriate diagnostic records.
  3. Review of alternatives, treatment stages and maintenance needs.
Suitability is determined at clinical assessment. Medical history, medication, existing tissues and expectations may influence the plan. Duration, appointments, fees and possible risks are discussed after individual evaluation.
